Helium for event use
A blimp fills with about 170 cubic feet, roughly $255. A 200 cubic foot cylinder is about $300 from a local welding-gas supplier.
Flown for a handful of game days a year you will lose very little between events, so a cylinder covers a season comfortably. Set the supplier account up before your first date rather than on the morning.
Making it pay over years
A $1,512 blimp used for one event is expensive. The same blimp flown at six home games a year for ten years is not.
It deflates, folds and stores flat in the carton it shipped in. Customers report still flying the same balloon after fourteen years, and an event balloon spends most of that in storage.
If several groups share the cost, say a school, a booster club and a youth league, decide up front who buys the helium and who owns the take-down decision.
Can you make my mascot’s actual shape?
No. We print it on a blimp. Moulded shapes need a custom fabricator.
Will the detail show at 120 feet?
Bold detail yes, fine outlines no. We will tell you before printing.
Is artwork extra?
No. Both sides, full colour, inside the $1,512.
How long to make?
Three to seven days after proof approval, then two to five days shipping.
Can we reuse it every season?
Yes. That is what makes the cost work.
